Life: We are all traveling through time
together, every day of our lives.
All we can do is do our best,
to relish this remarkable ride.

“How long will I love you?”
“As long as stars are above you….
and longer if I can.”

One response to “Life

  • dtdeedge

    I remember thinking this,
afloat on the river of time,
    holding my breath,
    tense in the roughs,
    blissfully contemplative in the stills,
shaded by towering trees along the banks.

    But now?
Now I have realized that rivers have sources,
    and mouths,
    their paths have been completed,
    there is no stop,
    no start,
    there is no time,
    only an illusion.

    It breaks my heart.
